Introducing NG Kerk Wynberg
NG Kerk Wynberg aims to provide the Wynberg community with spiritual wisdom and guidance, to carry Jesus’ Word and Love in our hearts every day. We believe that Jesus is the One keeping our community strong and we invite all our church members to open their hearts and to let Jesus live in each and every one of them.
We offer services for young and old, and we make our religious teachings relevant to the times we live in. The church is led by Dr Danie Nel, who is extremely passionate about sharing His word. Our beautiful church was established in 1829 and we have been serving the local community, committedly, ever since.
Our services
At NG Kerk Wynberg we want to make sure that the services we offer suits all our church members’ schedules. We also offer a verity of services to allow members to choose between a more formal or informal approach.
Each Sunday, we offer the following services:
- 08:00 – formal service with focus on music
- 09:30 – formal service, as well as informal service every 4th Sunday of the month
- 19:00 – night service
- 10:30 – Sunday school for the young ones
Apart from our Sunday services, we also host a range of get-togethers and services during the week, such as small groups, prayer meetings, Bible study groups, etc.
